Plextek becomes a TCCA member

TCCA has recently gained the membership of the UK-based Plextek.

Plextek is actively engaged in the development of solutions for both long-term evolution (LTE) and digital professional mobile radio (PMR) communications. It is also focused on a rapidly evolving global critical communications market.

“We are delighted to be joining TCCA at this very exciting time. The need for a standards-based approach to developing next-generation solutions for mission-critical push-to-talk, data and video has never been clearer,” Plextek Head of Business Development, Security Nick Koiza said.

“Plextek fully supports the work of TCCA and we look forward to best serving the needs of our customers in this area.”

TCCA works to ensure the best possible mission- and business-critical services for end users. From ensuring the ongoing development of the TETRA standard to advancing the development of mission-critical broadband, TCCA and its members enhance, protect, promote and progress critical communications worldwide.

“The success of TETRA critical communications is based on its open standard and collaborative community,” TCCA Chief Executive Tony Gray said.

“We are working to ensure that critical broadband delivers the same strengths and competitive advantages. We are very pleased to welcome Plextek as a TCCA member, and look forward to benefiting from their skills and insights.”
