Radios for German district
A framework agreement has been signed between Selectric Digital Radio-Systems NRW and the East Westphalia-Lippe administrative district for the supply of over 2800 Sepura TETRA radios and accessories in a contract worth over AU$3 million and includes a combination of hand-portable and mobile radios.
The administrative district makes up one-fifth of the federal state of North-Rhine Westphalia and has a population of more than two million. The TETRA network will be deployed throughout the districts of Gütersloh, Herford, Höxter, Lippe and Paderborn to deliver communications for the fire service, disaster relief and emergency services in the region.
