Wireless Corporation has appointed RFI Wireless as its new master distributor for the Wireless Pacific X10DR Secure Wireless Microphone  (X10DR) for the professional LMR market. The new distributor agreement allows RFI to distribute the wireless microphone to the Australian and New Zealand marketplace through its dealer and reseller networks.

The X10DR (‘Extender’) secure wireless microphone system is ready to interface to most wireless systems including PMR, P25, DMR, dPMR, NXDN and MotoTRBO for use in the VHF, UHF and 7/8/900 MHz frequency bands, and offers easy interface with most mobile radio brands and models. X10DR is also compatible with console systems and mobile satellite applications.

Martin Cahill, VP Global Markets, Wireless Corporation, said, “We’re delighted to announce this appointment of RFI as a master distributor and are highly confident the relationship will significantly enhance market acceptance of this revolutionary new communications concept. X10DR’s unique user benefits when coupled with RFI’s well acknowledged professional sales and technical support is sure to have a lot of organisations reconsidering how to best maximise their communication dollars, while ensuring all their field staff are safe and in touch when away from their vehicles.”

Scott Magee, Managing Director, RFI said, “We are excited to partner with Wireless Corporation to offer RFI customers this unique product. Our strategy is to offer our customers best-in-class, leading solutions and the X10DR fits the bill. This product offers true innovation and real benefit to the mobile user and so we are looking forward to working with Wireless Corporation to take it to a wider audience.”
