Search and Rescue Conference speaker submissions open
Those who are interested in speaking at the 2017 Search and Rescue Conference are now invited to make their submissions.
Abstracts can be for either a 30-minute concurrent presentation or a 15-minute presentation as part of a 90-minute forum.
Presentations may take the form of a case study, industry update, new initiative or project.
Topics to be addressed at the conference include technology and operations, multiagency response, training, role of police in land and maritime SAR, stakeholders, working in and with organisations, international SAR including humanitarian SAR, supporting the mental health of SAR workers, and SAR case studies on specific areas such as urban, marine, mine and humanitarian SAR.
The 2017 Conference will be held at Jupiters Gold Coast, Queensland, on 24 May, with the Disaster and Emergency Management Conference held the two days prior on 22–23 May.
