Sepura wins 'Wireless business of the year'
Cambridge UK-based Sepura has won the Business Weekly ‘Wireless business of the year’ award at the East of England Business Awards 2013.
Antony Rix of The Technology Partnership, who presented the award to Sepura said: “Sepura is set to penetrate the new North American market with its TETRA digital radios and continues to set new standards for wireless technology while posting phenomenal growth figures in export markets.”
Steve Chamberlain, Chief Financial Officer for Sepura commented: “This is a fantastic accolade for Sepura as it recognises the amazing results achieved during the last financial year with the acquisition of the Finnish applications developer Portalify, and the expansion of our offering in commercial markets through the launch of our digital mobile radio portfolio.”
The Business Awards, in their 24th year, were open to entries from East of England companies of all sizes and every business sector. The ceremony took place at Queens College, Cambridge.
