Submit your ICCRA Congress paper now

Submissions are now being sought for the International Critical Control Rooms Alliance Congress.

Currently in its 8th year, ICCRA Congress 2018 will take place on 10–12 December at the Raddison Blu Portman Road, London.

Critical command and control environments need to constantly adapt to the many changing factors that impact their way of working. Only by doing so can they deliver a consistently high service in the most cost-effective manner. In the call for papers, event organisers are looking for innovations that are helping control room operators to rise to this challenge, along with case studies.

This year’s theme, ‘Development Through Disruption — Progressing your Control Room’, will raise the bar in terms of content, education and innovation. Submissions from critical control room experts are sought on the following topics:

  • Automation and AI
  • Changes to working practices
  • Mobilisation of control rooms in the field
  • Moving the control room to the cloud
  • Case studies on critical control rooms
  • The human factor: improving staff wellbeing and performance

If you would like to speak, or have a suggestion for a panel session, email congress@iccraonline.com by Friday, 26 October. The email should outline:

  • Session title
  • Short overview of the presentation/panel topic (200–300 words)
  • Key learning objectives
  • A short biography of the proposed speaker
