Telegrid appoints Australasian distributor
Telegrid Technologies, a New Jersey-based business specialising in the manufacture of tactical mesh network radio products, has appointed C4i as its Australasian distributor.
The company’s mesh network technology (WZRDnet) provides network-on-the-move capability, with intrinsically safe, low-power, portable, handheld units. The system supports voice and data communications between individual handsets over distances up to 64 km with no permanent infrastructure.
C4i’s managing director, Peter Harrison, said, “C4i is excited about representing the Telegrid range of products. We are confident that the new products will be well received by our existing customer base in the resources, public safety, essential services and defence sectors.”
The company also intends to integrate Telegrid’s products into its range of deployable communications system solutions to add seamless ad hoc voice and data communications capability into its Command-Centre LT range.
