SETAR's TETRA switching refreshed by Rohill
Rohill will refresh the switching of Servicio di Telecomunicacion di Aruba’s (SETAR) TETRA network.
Rohill’s TetraNode network for SETAR was installed in 2005 and has expanded several times in the last decade. This refreshment includes all switching of the TetraNode system, including TNXs and server platforms.
Three years ago, the TetraNode network for SETAR had already been upgraded, including the replacement of all base station systems. With this refreshment of the switching of the network, the entire SETAR network will be equipped with the latest equipment, ensuring the network is again ready for the future.
“We are very pleased with the refreshment of our TetraNode system. With TETRA still as the preferred solution for mission-critical voice communication, this refreshment allows us to continue to rely on our futureproof TETRA system in the next years,” said Raul Ponson, Chief Technical Officer at SETAR.
“We are very delighted with the fact that SETAR ordered this network refreshment, which shows SETAR’s commitment for TETRA and in particular for Rohill’s TetraNode product portfolio. We are looking forward to continue our long-term relationship with SETAR,” said Harry Muter, Chief Operations Officer at Rohill.
