VIDEO: How FirstNet's deployables assist public safety

Here’s a short video outlining FirstNet’s different kinds of deployable solutions, provided at no cost to FirstNet subscribers.

FirstNet can call on a fleet of 72 wheeled deployables plus three flying cells on wheels and one aerostat.

So far, the deployables have supported 450 operations including fires, floods, search and rescue, hurricanes and large crowd events.

The deployables are stationed in strategic locations across the USA and can be rapidly pressed into service.

The concept of deployables is one of great topical interest for the Australia public safety and emergency response sectors, given experiences during the recent widespread bushfires.
