TETRA enhancement

Motorola has launched the Dimetra LiTE solution and appointed Cyber On-Air (Asia) as its first authorised partner for the hospitality industry in Hong Kong.

Dimetra LiTE extends the reach of TETRA in delivering solutions and will be available to enterprise users through Motorola’s authorised partners in Asia Pacific.

Dimetra LiTE builds on the Dimetra IP family of TETRA systems and supports features such as integrated voice and data services and full duplex IP telephony calls - critical to enterprise users such as utility, gaming, transport, small airports, small seaports, resorts and large hotels.

This compact switch also provides an interface to conventional analog systems making it suitable for operators upgrading from analog to digital.

It uses the range of TETRA base stations. The radio site is linked to LiTE using a standard ethernet interface, saving on leased lines. The remote access function allows monitoring and diagnostics to be done centrally.
