Friday, 03 May, 2013

Cassidian Communications has announced its TETRA radio solutions are now available to corporate customers in the US and Canada - initially within utility, transportation and industrial markets.

Utility, transportation and industrial companies rely on land mobile radio every day - especially when facing potential threats like bad weather, accidents and equipment failures. Cassidian Communications’ says its TETRA solutions’ voice quality and efficient data services (ie, supervisory control and data acquisition applications) ensure vital messages get through whenever and wherever they are needed.

Cassidian’s TETRA solutions have been deployed in more than 130 networks around the world. For example, BOSNet, a TETRA network deployment in Germany, will be the largest digital network in the world, with more than 3000 sites and more than a million users on a single, nationwide network.
