New features on the spectrum and regulatory database

The WiMAX Forum and AT4 wireless have announced the implementation of additional features on the WiMAX Forum Spectrum and Regulatory Database, a database developed in collaboration with AT4 wireless, providing WiMAX Forum member companies worldwide spectrum licensing and regulatory requirements.

The WiMAX Forum has also confirmed the renewal of the AT4 wireless contract for the maintenance of the current database information at the conference.

Since the official launch of the database on 17 November 2006, 165 countries have been included in the database.
