MiMOMax Wireless has released a quad-array loop Yagi antenna as an alternative to its compact loop Yagi antenna. Like the compact loop, the quad-array can transmit both horizontally and vertically polarised MiMO signals.
However, compared with the compact loop, the quad-array enhances signal gain by up to 6 dB. In most cases, the quad-array will be positioned at both ends of a link, which increases path gain in total by up to 12 dB.
The core benefit of the quad-array is its ability to maintain unique and high-quality MiMO signals, while also substantially increasing range by up to 2-3 times (depending on the path characteristics).
