Epcos has added the H series to its SIF family of EMC filters that are now available in seven series (A-E, G, H). This family of two-line devices is designed for 250 VAC and can also be used for DC applications. It can handle currents from 1 to 36 A.
The filters are targeted at EMC applications in power supplies, medical engineering, industrial electronics, telecommunications and data systems.
They are available with various insertion loss values and terminal configurations and feature low leakage current.
Types with permissible current ratings from 20 A are supplied with screw terminals.
