GME has released the CM series of digital-ready mobile radios.

The CM1037U/V, a dedicated low-power version, and CM1039U/V, a high-powered 25 W version are CAP compliant and allow software key migration from conventional P25 to trunked and encrypted models.

The initial releases operate in the 136 - 174 MHz, 403 - 480 MHz and 450 - 520 MHz bands.

The range targets small, medium and large fleet solutions for commercial and government clients.

Standard signalling formats like CCIR 5 tone, CTCSS and DCS are usable in analog mode and programmable on a per-channel basis. Size and the ability to covertly install a radio were key considerations in the mechanical design, and innovative human interfaces include a high-visibility, high-resolution LCD to assist in rapid-recognition, rapid-response times.
