Telit has announced the EZ10-PCS tri band GSM/GPRS class 10 module that allows data to be sent across the GSM network.

The family comprises standalone devices with complete GSM/GPRS mobile communications capabilities - including SIM holder and SMA f RF interface.

The terminal products act as external add-on wireless standard modems with standard RS232 interface, connecting various end products to the wireless network.

Key features of the module include: tri band; GPRS Class 10; python script interpreter inside for self-controlled operations; dedicated set of AT commands to scan (even without a SIM) all the 900/1800/1900 GSM channels; reporting all available parameters; quality SMS, fax, asynch and packet data services.
