The i.safe MOBILE IS380.1 4G radio is certified for Zone 1/21 hazardous areas. It runs on Android-based ISM-OS 16 while keeping the physical interface professionals already know: a side-mounted PTT button, a rotary switch for channel or volume selection, and a front-facing amplified loudspeaker that is audible against background noise. Existing headsets and accessories connect directly via the 13-pin ISM interface.
On LTE networks, the IS380.1 supports Push-to-Talk over Cellular and Mission Critical PTT, alongside conventional telephony. Via RoIP gateways, it also bridges legacy VHF/UHF radio systems with broadband PTT platforms, meaning teams on older infrastructure stay in the conversation during a phased migration.
Rated IP68 and MIL-STD 810H, the device is built for reliable communication in harsh environments.
The IS380.1 will be showcased on the i.safe MOBILE stand at Comms Connect NZ.
