Laird Technologies has released its asset tracking World cellular and GPS band antenna.

The antenna is a high-performance cellular and GPS device that supports AMPS, GSM, PCS and DCS bands and is ground-plane independent. It transmits voice and data while providing good RF performance.

Providing low-cost implementation and easy installation, the antenna’s compact form is suited to concealed applications inside a vehicle, but can also be used externally. Multiple mounting options allow the sleek, durable housing to be mounted on either a ground-plane or non-ground-plane surface. It is suitable for fleet logistics, tracking, diagnostics, theft protection, asset recovery, and navigation and infotainment systems.

The antenna meets enhanced environmental specifications and is weather resistant with an IP67 ingress protection rating.
