LiMnO2 primary cells

Saft's LM range of lithium manganese dioxide (LiMnO2) cylindrical primary cells combines a high voltage and rate capability, performance over a wide range of temperatures, no voltage delay when put into service and a long shelf life, all in a standard space envelope.

The LM cells are designed for a broad range of military and industrial communication and general electronics applications, especially those requiring either a high pulse current or backup power for memory retention.

The range comprises seven cells ranging in size from ½ AA through to DD, in capacity from 350 mAh to 21 Ah, all with a nominal voltage of 3.0 V and a typical operating voltage between 2.5 and 2.8 V with a stable discharge voltage on low current. Operating temperature ranges from -40 to +70°C.

The cells are available with eight standard terminations, with other terminations available on request and a variety of battery pack configurations.
