The Nera Evolution series is a point-to-point microwave system in licensed frequency bands from 5 to 38 GHz. Its transmission capacity is scalable between 6 and 600 Mbps based on a common software-defined platform.

The series has features designed to secure the transmission of traffic as well as reducing the life cycle cost of the equipment. It can prepared a network for the demands of 3G, allow the user to replace leased infrastructure and future proof a network for next-generation services - while cutting deployment and operation costs.

Built on a common hardware platform, the series has three basic configurations, all featuring network management capability, future-proofed transmission solutions and protocols, easy scalability and software-defined upgrades.
