Panorama Antennas Great Hammerhead fixed wireless access solutions
Panorama Antennas’ Great Hammerhead is a fixed-site antenna solution for two 5G routers (DWMM8) or three 4G Cat 7 routers (DWMM6). It has multiple mounting options and ultralow-loss fitted cables for easy and flexible installation.
The DWMM8[X]-6-60-[X] antenna provides a 2x 4x4 MiMo omnidirectional antenna solution for global 4G/5G networks covering 617–960/1427–6000 MHz, and features eight separately fed ultra-wideband elements in a single housing. The DWMM6[X]-6-60-[X] antenna provides a 3x 2x2 MiMo omnidirectional antenna solution for global 4G/5G networks covering 617–960/1427–6000 MHz, and features six separately fed ultra-wideband elements in a single housing. Both versions are suitable for a wide range of fixed-site branch office and enterprise failover applications using dual modems or multiple 2x2 modems for cellular bonding, allowing up to nine functions to be supported via a single antenna installation.
The antennas can be fitted directly to non-conductive panels or internal walls, and mounting feet are supplied to allow them to be stood on a desk or windowsill. The omnidirectional radiation pattern allows easy placement of the antennas without consideration of directional alignment, making them useful where access to multiple network sites is required. The DWMM[X]G versions incorporate an integral GPS/GNSS antenna with 26 or 30 /26 dB LNA gain and advanced filtering for resilient operation.
The antennas have integral flame retardant coaxial cables, which eliminate or reduce exposed connector joints and simplify installation. Versions with SMA plugs offer direct connection to many routers while those with N jacks allow connection of longer cable runs of low loss cable.
