4RF Communications engineers point-to-point radio technologies for use in low-capacity linking and network-edge applications. The Aprisa range of digital access radios are intelligent, standalone solutions for transporting voice, data and high-speed Internet.

Features include: spectrally efficient 16, 32 and 64 QAM modulation and QPSK (4 QAM); capacities range from 72 to 1024 Kbps; several channel sizes from 25 to 250 kHz; up to 120 Kbps in a 25 kHz channel; maximum data capacity of 1024 Kbps in a 250 kHz channel at 64 QAM; available for the 300, 400 and 1400 MHz frequency bands; integrated micro cross-connect; various interface options enable ethernet, data and voice traffic on one link; meets the international standards including ETSI performance standards; modular design reduces the mean time to repair (MTTR); low power consumption; and Windows-based set-up software.

These features, along with the multiplexing architecture embedded in the radio platform, make the range suitable for utility, telco, mobile radio and cellular networks.
