RFI Industries DZ series of RF power line filters

Tuesday, 13 April, 2010 | Supplied by: RFI Industries

The DZ series of RF power line filters for EMI interference reduction provides an integrated IEC mains inlet receptacle allowing easy integration during the product‘s design phase. The filter is fused and is also available with a double pole switch and either one or two fuses. The device is intended to be designed into electronic equipment and measuring instruments.

The filters have good common mode and differential mode interference suppression to minimise conducted interference at the mains input, providing a clean mains voltage and making the internal circuits less susceptible to external conducted interference.

The rated input voltage is 250 AC, at 50/60 Hz and the filters are available in current ratings from 1 A to 10 A.

A QA test of a 1 min test voltage of 1768 AC applied line to line and 1500 AC line to ground is carried out on each filter at manufacture. The filters also conform to climate category 25/085/21
