RigExpert MATCH upgradeable cable and antenna analyser

The MATCH, from RigExpert, is a handheld cable and antenna analyser that sports a large 480 x 480 TFT display. The compact unit can undertake measurements quickly, saving time when fault-finding or verifying a system. Standard Open, Short and Load calibration is only required every six months.

The Base unit features a range of 100 kHz to 70 MHz. It can be upgraded to the Advanced licence, which increases the upper range to 230 MHz. The RFE licence upgrade will increase the upper frequency limit to 500 MHz.

The product offers most measurements required by the RF engineer, including an R and X chart; return loss chart; Smith chart (Advanced and RFE licences); SWR at single or multiple frequencies; SWR chart; SWR, return loss; R, X, Z, L and C at single frequency; and time-domain reflectometry (TDR) chart (RFE licence). Through the Advanced and RFE licences, it offers tools for cable loss and characteristic impedance measurement; length and velocity factor; OSL calibration; and stub tuning.

The device has an internal battery pack which can be charged via USB Type C and supports seven languages. It is suitable for all radio technicians/engineers.
