Spread spectrum option

Semaphore has introduced an integral, spread spectrum radio option for the T-box LT compact remote terminal unit and SCADA system.

It is suitable for decentralised applications where its push and web technologies enable high performance, economical implementation and operation.

The radio extends licence-free communications to T-box LT applications in areas lacking mobile or landline telephone coverage.

It is claimed to be the first IP-based telemetry system that enables integration of SCADA, control and communications functionality in one rugged package. The LT model is for installations which require up to 32 I/O points.

Like all members of the family, it incorporates a full web server with SMS reporting and remote control to provide real-time access anytime, anywhere through a standard web browser.

Operators can receive alarms and communicate with their sites remotely using a mobile device such as a mobile phone, laptop or PDA.
