ThingMagic embedded RFID readers

Step Global has available a range of embedded RFID readers from ThingMagic.

The Mercury5e (M5e) UHF RFID module is about the size of a PCMCIA Type II PC card. It is suitable for adding UHF RFID read/write capabilities to a wide range of products and solutions, from high-speed label printing and inlay testing to stationary, mobile and handheld computers.

The single-port M5e-Compact embedded UHF RFID reader is about the same size as a CompactFlash card. The RFID reader module is suitable where small size and low power consumption are essential.

The 4-port Mercury6e (M6e) embedded UHF RFID reader module is designed to the performance standards of full-size readers, but is small and efficient enough to be used in mobile applications.

The 2-port M6e-Micro is ThingMagic’s smallest embedded UHF RFID reader module, offering the high-performance capabilities of the M6e in a small form factor. Its small size and powerful performance yield increased efficiency, reduced development costs and time-to-market advantages for a wide variety of handheld, portable and stationary devices and solutions.
