TWIG Protector Pro Ex man-down lone worker unit
The TWIG Intrinsically-Safe Protector Pro Ex is a ruggedised personal duress and man-down lone worker unit. It is specifically designed for demanding, noisy and potentially explosive and hazardous environments.
The product meets Australian/NZ and European standards IECEx/ATEX and British Standard BS8484.
The alarm is rugged yet small, light, 3G/GSM/GNSS. Triggers include SOS key, automatic man-down, amber alert. Predefined protocol transmits last user position, opens two-way voice to colleague and/or alarm security centre. It has advanced large-capacity battery technology. The product is remotely configurable, fast to deploy and flexible to operate. It is also USB programmable, manually or using saved file.
An integrator kit enables devices to use alarm security centre monitoring via SMS and /or TCP/IP. The TWIG Netpoint software also provides a turn-key solution to receive alarms on smartphones as SMS message with web link, opening up Google Maps view (supplementary private monitoring).
The device optionally receives alarms from several wireless wrist buttons and can determine position from nearby indoor beacon locating devices when a GPS signal is not available. Users can register attendance by swiping Tag RF identifiers, as well as record comings and goings with a door sensor for guard rounds.
