Wi-Sys Communications has launched the WS3978 40 dB gain, high rejection hard mount antenna series.
The GPS antenna series provides 40 dB of gain and features a custom ceramic patch element for signal reception, 15 KV ESD circuit protection and a three-stage LNA circuit.
The series is offered with a single out-of-band SAW filter or a dual rejection 'anti-jamming' SAW filter, enabling the devices to provide a reliable and clear GPS signal while minimising loss-of-lock. Available in an all-plastic, non-corrosive package for vehicle mount or with a cone-shaped radome cover for fixed installations, the antenna is suitable for GPS timing and tracking applications with long cable runs.
