The airClient 241 wireless customer premise equipment is now available.

The device is designed for carriers and communication service providers to establish end-to-end, licence-exempt wireless infrastructure capable of delivering data and voice and is offered as a wall-mountable indoor version and an outdoor version.

Users can self-install the device, eliminating the need of a service provider’s truck roll.

This can result in cost savings on new customer acquisitions.

Auto-provisioning, virtual LAN, quality of service and bandwidth control features reduce the overall management and maintenance costs associated with deployments.

The integrated antenna is able to connect to an access point located up to 4 km away. For longer distances, an optional higher gain antenna can be attached to the external antenna connector.

Power over ethernet support means users can mount the device to 30 m away from a computer or network.
