Wireless network monitoring

The OneBase InSite product family enables wireless operators to monitor cell sites remotely, identifying performance degradation before it affects network integrity.

By routinely monitoring network performance at each cell site, the two products help operators prevent minor problems from turning into major disruptions, saving them money by avoiding costly dispatches of emergency repair crews and helping maintain customer satisfaction.

The Connect product acts as the central notification centre for site alarms and status information and supports remote configuration adjustments and tower equipment maintenance.

It includes a remote electrical tilt (RET) controller that allows for remote monitoring and controlling of AISG-compliant RET antennas and tower-mounted amplifiers.

The RF product is a standalone unit mounted in or alongside a standard base station transceiver rack, which works with any original equipment manufacturer’s BTS radio equipment.

It can run site tests automatically according to a schedule or in real-time via an internet connection. The device takes readings on antenna return loss, uplink and downlink VSWR, pilot power and other site metrics and will notify radio frequency technicians via alarms when performance is at or nearing sub-par levels.
