Other features include a repeater scan, silent standby with CTCSS/DTCS and a selection of CB and commercial five tone selcall signalling formats.
The one-piece alloy chassis has a shatter-proof polycarbonate front panel, 8-character alphanumeric backlit display, front-facing 4 W speaker and a commercial-grade microphone.
