Dutch police ride with Sepura

Tuesday, 25 October, 2011

Twente regional police force in the Netherlands has equipped its motorcycle fleet with Sepura TETRA radios.

The colour console and SRG3900 mobile radio have been chosen for their waterproof performance. In particular, the police were impressed with the console’s user-friendly interface with its large high-resolution and easy-to-read colour display and the availability of day and night modes.

The single key-press operation is an attractive feature for the force’s motorcycle users.

Ronald Kaalverink from Twente Police said: “The radios’ gateway function and superior audio quality will help make communications more reliable.”
