German fire brigade chooses Sepura TETRA

Sepura’s long-standing German partner Selectric GmbH has been awarded a prestigious contract award for the supply of TETRA radios to fire brigades in the Middle Franconia region of Germany.

The contract - which followed a competitive official tender evaluation process begun in the northern autumn of 2013 - includes over 2500 Sepura TETRA radios, comprising a combination of STP8000, STP8X Intrinsically-Safe ATE/IECEx hand-portables and SRG3900 mobile radios plus accessories.

Middle Franconia is one of the three administrative regions of Franconia in Bavaria, Germany, comprising five cities in seven counties; the most populated city is Nuremberg.
