Sepura has announced the availability of its DMR Tier III solution to the global market, a move that was accelerated by the recent acquisition of UK firm Fylde Micro.

In a press statement, Sepura says its DMR Tier III system provides a cost-effective, scalable, trunking solution that ensures reliable, spectrum-efficient communications for organisations of all sizes.

The company added that its fully trunked network with a dedicated control channel provides a range of features not available with proprietary systems and is available as an upgrade to existing Sepura Tier II deployments or as a variety of preconfigured systems.

Chris D’Aguiar, VP Commercial for Sepura, said the DMR Tier III range has a “multifunctional, easy-to-install system incorporating the new Sepura Controller, developed in collaboration with Fylde Micro.”

Steve Barber, Sepura’s head of product strategy, added that “with the availability of Tier III capabilities we are in the ideal position to take full advantage of the ever-increasing analog to digital migration”.
