‘Pure sound’ radios

Monday, 17 August, 2009 | Supplied by: GME Pty Ltd

GME has released its Super Compact range of UHF CB radios that uses the latest in digital signal processing to create what is claimed to be the first CB radio with ‘pure sound’.

The range has two models, the TX3100 and TX3340. Both are pocket-sized and both are designed and manufactured in Australia.

The TX3100 has a ‘flip’ feature, allowing the display to be turned upside down making installation possible in either orientation.

The radio’s features include solid diecast chassis; user adjustable squelch; user adjustable duplex channel; programmable scan function; CTCSS and DCS; and high contrast LCD with adjustable backlight.

The TX3340 with its LCD remote controller microphone gives the user control of all radio functions. As well as all the features of the TX3100, the TX3340 also has user selectable open and group scan; five digit selcall with quiet mode; and selectable priority channel.
