The BiM2H, from Radiometrix, is a half-duplex crystal-controlled PLL wideband FM transceiver operating at 433.92 MHz.

It is aimed at the Australian/New Zealand low interference potential devices market (conforming to the AS/NZS 4268:2003 standard).

It delivers 25 mW output and can be used to implement a reliable data link capable of carrying a maximum of 64 Kbps. Receiver sensitivity is -101 dBm, allowing the module a usable range of more than 500 m.

The device has a low profile and a small footprint area, allowing it to be incorporated into space-constrained systems.

It can be powered by a supply voltage within the 2.9 to 16 range and it is pin-for-pin compatible with existing BiM2 transceivers.

Electronic design most likely to make use of this module include those for handheld terminals, EPOS equipment, bar code scanners, belt clip printers, data loggers, audience response systems, in-building environmental monitoring/control, security/fire alarms and restaurant ordering systems.
