Computronics has released a wireless RF bidirectional Tx/Rx module, communicating up to 200 m with an optional RS232 interface.

This compact unit has a data transmitter and receiver for low cost RF communications. It transmits in the LIPD (low interference potential device class licence) 433 MHz band.

Available in two versions, the TTL interface version is suitable for use with an onboard microprocessor while the RS232 version is for use with devices that have an RS232 port available, including many PCs.

It is a fixed 19.2 k speed 8N1 to allow connection to a wide range of devices. Other data speeds and/or interface are available along with an optional mini whip antenna.
