CRS Accessories hands-free vehicle wireless PTT
CRS Accessories has released a device that enables two-way radio users to be virtually hands free when communicating using their vehicle’s two-way radios.
The Wireless PTT button (transmitter) can be secured to the steering wheel of any vehicle, levers or wherever an operator’s hands are. The transmitter is IP67 rated and waterproof.
There is no charging of batteries as the button has been designed to be pressed 300,000 times (about two years) before it needs replacing. If it does fail there is a second PTT backup button on the receiver.
The microphone is designed to be mounted on the door pillar of the vehicle. A built-in amplifier in the microphone provides high sensitivity allowing the operator to communicate back to base.
