Switchcraft EN3 overmould connector range

The latest overmould options for the EN3 line of products has been released by Switchcraft.

The three options have a rugged construction, more slimline style and good flex relief, making the connectors suitable for harsh environments.

The straight overmould is produced at Clarke & Severn’s Hornsby Heights Plant using macromelt moulding. The right angle overmould and the quick disconnect overmould, which quickly snaps in to place while providing a watertight seal, are produced by Switchcraft in the US.   

All overmoulds are suitable for mobile equipment, such as monitoring equipment or outdoor lighting. The ergonomic designs offer durable 360˚ flex cable strain relief, IP68 rated, accommodate cable OD up to 9.6 mm and overmoulding is available in all standard EN3 connector styles and contact configurations. Two to 18 contacts are available in straight and quick disconnect overmoulds and the right angle overmould is available in three, six, nine, and 12 o’clock cable orientations.
