Antenna coupler

Service and repair shops testing TETRA mobile phones can now test their radios without having to use type-specific RF adapters as Willtek Communications has introduced what it claims is the first antenna coupler for TETRA frequencies.

The 4914 complements the 2303 Stabilock, a dedicated TETRA mobile station tester for service in the field of PMR. The coupler can also be used for mobile phone systems operating in the 400 MHz range, such as CDMA-450.

The coupler renders an individual RF adapter for each type of TETRA radio unnecessary. The TETRA phone is placed on the shuttle of the 4914, which in turn is connected to the RF port of the radio test set making handling easier.

The antenna is included in the test.
