Bar code reader

Cutting the cord between a bar code reader and its host computer, the Cino 6890BT wireless scanner from Kappalyn brings freedom to stocktaking or any other scanning task.

Communicating using Bluetooth, the plug-and-play scanner can send data back to a host up to 100 m away, even through walls. If out of radio range, the scanner stores the readings (up to 2000) in its internal memory ready for transmission when back in contact.

Using intelligent FuzzyScan linear imaging technology, the device delivers high-speed scanning with accurate decoding. A bright aiming line gives clear visibility on all bar code labels to be read.

The scanner allows staff to move around a warehouse, library or shop and scan the bar code labels on bulky items without any difficulty. The accuracy of data transmission is guaranteed, with auto acknowledgment feeding back from the host system to scanner.

To ensure the technology is always up to date, a proprietary FuzzyScan Powertool.NET, Windows-based utility provides for the scanner's internal flash memory to be quickly and easily field upgraded.
