Andrew has introduced new and upgraded cable accessories.
SnapStak stackable snap-in hangers, Compact Weathershield weatherproofing kits, Universal SureGround earthing kits and galvanised earthing bars work with both Heliax 2.0 FXL aluminium and AVA copper coaxial cables.
These accessories can help operators increase their use of available tower and mounting space, and reduce installation times.
Operators with limited tower space will appreciate stacking either aluminium or copper cables with the hanger in lieu of tower extension parts. The Weathershield is 24% smaller to fit multiport antennas and other small devices and, with a slide bar function, can reduce installation time.
The SureGround kits fit all smoothwall and corrugated wireless cables within a nominal size range, while the galvanised earthing bars provide an inconspicuous yet effective bus that will not attract copper thieves’ attentions.
The accessories follow the same dual function as the company’s EZfit universal connectors, which also fit both Heliax 2.0 aluminium and copper coaxial cables.
