Ceramic capacitors

Kemet has expanded its surface-mount, multilayer ceramic capacitor portfolio in C0G dielectric with over 80 part types.

The company has values that combine ultra-high capacitance with the stability and performance of a Class 1 dielectric in a 100% lead-free package.

Values have been extended in 10, 16, 25, 50 and 100 V rated EIA 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 1210 case sizes and include tolerances of F(±1%), G(±2%), J(±5%), K(±10%) and M(±20%).

With an operating temperature range of between -55 and +125°C, and with capacitance shift limited to ±30 ppm/°C over that range, the devices are suitable for audio applications.

They are designed to provide circuit functions of critical timing and tuning-in applications, including mobile communications, motor vehicle electronics and power supply circuits.

They show no piezoelectric properties as well as no capacitance change with respect to applied rated DC voltage or time.
