The CRS helmet-mount, heavy-duty noise-cancelling headset (model CRS-HDHSHM) features an interchangeable radio interface cable enabling one headset to suit different model radios. This also enables change-out of the main cable in the event the cable is damaged.
There is a choice of earmuff PTT or inline PTT/earmuff PTT (if the inline PTT option is chosen, the earmuff PTT still operates). The unit connects to most standard hard hats, has an optional dynamic microphone (for high-noise environments, eg, motorsport) or electret microphone (for normal environments), and added strain relief to ensure protection of the main cable connection socket in the event the cable is caught on machinery. NRR is -24 dB.
