ZCG Scalar Drone Range Extender Kit

ZCG Scalar is launching its Drone Range Extender Kit, designed to enhance the RF performance of a drone controller. Compact and easy to set up, the kit connects externally and provides dedicated amplified RF paths for both 2.4 and 5.8 GHz, combining high-performance omnidirectional antennas, bidirectional RF amplifiers and low-loss cable assemblies.

Available in 5, 10 or 15 m runs, the external antennas can be positioned away from the controller, giving operators flexibility when selecting an optimal antenna location. The amplifiers connect directly to the controller via 30 cm cable assemblies and are powered via USB.

With emergency services and critical communications increasingly relying on UAVs for situational awareness, search and rescue, and incident response, the kit is built to keep operators connected further from base, in the environments where strong RF performance matters most.
