Wireless Pacific has announced new models of its Lone Alert 'Mandown' remote speaker microphones.

Models to suit Kenwood, Icom and Simoco portable radios are now available. The mics provide a warbling alert tone over the channel/talkgroup, whenever the user has been prone for 30 s.

Operation includes a 15 s grace period before a 10 s user pre-alert (which can be disabled for silent alerting).

Additionally, it can support the host radios built-in signalling to allow remote unit identification or emergency alarm display.
