Hittite Microwave has introduced a high linearity InGaP HBT gain block MMIC amplifier for IF and RF applications from DC to 4.5 GHz, including mobile/PCS/3G, broadband, WiBro and WiMAX.

The HMC475ST89(E) features high output P1dB of +22 dBm, high output IP3 of +35 dBm, and up to 22 dB cascadeable gain stage in IF, RF and PA pre-driver amplifier applications in mobile/PCS/3G, broadband, Wibro and WiMAX systems.

The amplifier is housed in an RoHS-compliant SOT89 E SMT package and shares a common pinout within the company's range of SiGe and InGaP HBT gain block amplifiers. The latest device operates from a single +8 V supply and consumes 110 mA.
