Impedance match transformers

Wednesday, 28 October, 2009 | Supplied by: Clarke & Severn Electronic Solutions

Switchcraft’s 366 and 367 impedance matching transformers are used to convert 110 Ω AES/EBU digital audio signals to 75 Ω signals and 75 Ω signals to 110 Ω.

This allows long-distance transmission of AES/EBU digital audio over standard 75 Ω coaxial cable.

The adapters can also be used to connect AES/EBU digital audio signals to high-definition, broadcast-quality video patchbays.
