Hittite Microwave has introduced four high dynamic range SMT packaged MMIC 1 and 2 W power amplifiers for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, test equipment and military applications from 7 to 32 GHz.

The HMC486LP5, HMC487LP5 and HMC489LP5 are GaAs PHEMT MMIC amplifiers which operate from 7 to 16 GHz, deliver up to +33 dBm of saturated output power at 20% PAE and +40 dBm output IP3. All three are packaged in leadless 5 x 5 mm QFN surface mount packages and share identical pin assignments.

The amplifiers operate from a +7 V supply and offer fully matched (50 ohm) RF ports with internal DC blocking capacitors.

The HMC499LC4 is a high dynamic range GaAs PHEMT MMIC medium power amplifier housed in a Pb-free and RoHS compliant 4 x 4 mm leadless QFN SMT package. This amplifier operates from 21 to 32 GHz and delivers 15 dB gain, +24 dBm saturated output power and +33 dBm output IP3.
