MSL Agencies portable mast

MSL Agencies has designed 4.5 and 6.0 m high portable masts manufactured from aluminium extrusions that fit snugly into each other.

The masts comprise three and four sections, each 1500 mm long and powder-coated dark grey.

They are designed to hold VHF collinear or whip antennas and UHF dipoles, collinear or whips.

The complete kit comes with a base plate which prevents the base from sinking into muddy surfaces, four pegs, guy ropes with tension adjusters and a carry bag.

The kits are lightweight and on average weigh 8 kg. Both masts can be erected by one person and are suitable for emergency communications, coverage or link testing.

The mast is also suitable for civil defence purposes, military and police communications, and the communications enthusiast.

Optional custom fittings include an insulated short section which fits on the top section and extends the mast, making it a good mast for inverted V, HF antennas.

Other options are end fed dipole mast top adapters and whip brackets, which slip into the top section.
